Ask A Bestie

Safety.

We meet people. We verify identities. We still want you to trust your instincts.

If someone feels creepy

Oh, hell no. Tell us immediately. You never owe someone another date, an explanation, physical contact, a ride home, your address, or access to you because Ask A Bestie made the introduction.

First dates

Meet in a public place. Arrange your own transportation. Tell someone you trust where you are going. Keep control of your drinks and personal belongings. Do not share financial information or send money.

Verification is not a guarantee

Identity verification helps us confirm that someone is a real person and that certain information matches. It cannot guarantee someone's intentions, behavior, background or future actions.

Tell your Bestie

If something felt wrong before, during or after a date, contact us. We want to know. Reports may affect whether someone remains eligible for our service.

Emergency situations

If you believe you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or another appropriate local authority. Ask A Bestie is not an emergency-response service.
