Ask A Bestie is a human matchmaking service. We introduce people we think may be a fit. We do not guarantee a relationship, chemistry, compatibility, exclusivity, or any particular outcome.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to apply. You agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you will not impersonate another person or intentionally misrepresent material information.

Membership fee

The standard Ask A Bestie service is $500 for six months unless we agree to different written terms with you. Fees are non-refundable except if Ask A Bestie sets you up on zero dates during your entire paid six-month term. A date or introduction does not need to result in a relationship to count as a date for purposes of this policy.

Number of dates

We do not guarantee any specific number of dates. The number of potential introductions depends on factors including your location, preferences, requirements, timing and the people available for potential matches.

After six months

If you want to continue after your term, we may conduct another interview and offer a new term. Continuing is not automatic and may require a new payment.

Astrology add-on

Astrological compatibility readings are optional and currently priced at $50 per reading. Astrology is provided for entertainment and personal reflection only. It is not professional, medical, psychological, financial or legal advice and is not a guarantee of compatibility or relationship outcomes.

Safety

We may conduct identity verification and meet members by video or in person, but no verification process can eliminate all risk. You remain responsible for your own decisions and safety when communicating with or meeting another person. Review our Safety page before meeting a match.

Conduct

We may suspend or end service for threatening, harassing, deceptive, discriminatory, coercive, unsafe or otherwise inappropriate behavior, or for conduct we reasonably believe could place another person or Ask A Bestie at risk.

No guarantee of acceptance

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into the service. We may decline an application or discontinue service where permitted by law.
